The Sill Faux Plants

Artificial houseplants carry all sorts of negative associations: dentist’s offices, nursing homes, restaurants with questionable health department scores.

But there’s a reason why fake plants are so popular in institutional and commercial spaces: they’re impossible to kill. And let’s face it: plants can be hard to keep alive. According to a 2022 article in Business Insider, nearly 50% of houseplants die shortly after purchase.

The Sill’s line of preserved plants brings consumers a game-changing new option: real plants that are preserved with non-toxic chemicals. This campaign aims to address consumer’s biases toward faux plants, remind them of live houseplants’ inherent fragility, and introduce them to The Sill’s innovative “third option.”
